WHAT IS COFFEE? 

Coffee is a beverage made by brewing roasted and ground coffee beans, which are the seeds of the Coffea plant. The Coffea plant is native to tropical regions of Africa, and coffee is now grown in countries all around the world like South and Central America.  El Salvador, Guatemala, Brazil or Colombia. 

HOW IS COFFEE MADE?

Coffee is made by brewing ground coffee beans with hot water. The process of making coffee can vary, but generally involves the following steps:

1. First, the coffee beans are roasted to develop their flavor and aroma. The degree of roast and the specific process can affect the final flavor of the coffee. 

2. Next, the roasted coffee beans are ground into a fine powder. The size of the grounds can affect the brewing process and the final flavor of the coffee.

3. The ground coffee is then placed in a filter and hot water is poured over it. The hot water extracts the flavor and aroma from the coffee grounds as it passes through the filter. 

4. The brewed coffee is then collected in a pot of carafe, and it is ready to be served. 

HOW DO I STORE COFFEE?

Coffee should be stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. It is best to store coffee away from light, heat, and moisture, as these can all affect the flavor of the coffee. If you have opened a bag of coffee, it is best to use it within a few weeks to ensure that it stays fresh. 

IS COFFEE HEALTHY?

Coffee have some health benefits when consumed in moderation. Some studies have shown that coffee can help improve cognitive function, protect against certain diseases, and my even have some weight loss benefits. However, it is important to note that coffee can also have negative effects on health when consumed in excess like anything else. It is recommended to consume coffee in moderation, typically no more than 3-4 cups per day. 

HOW DO I BREW THE PERFECT CUP OF COFFEE?

Brewing the perfect cup of coffee is a matter of personal preference, but there are few general tips that can help make a great cup of coffee:

1. Start with a fresh bag of Blend Riders Coffee.

2. Grind the beans just before brewing to ensure that the coffee is at its freshest. 

3. Use clean, cold water to brew the coffee.

4. Experiment with the brewing time and the ratio of coffee to water to find the flavor profile of your choice. 

5. Store leftover coffee in the refrigerator to help keep it fresh.
